The Company:
Our Newmarket based client represents the most well recognized high end, premium Spa brand. For over thirty years, they have sold their luxury spas via a national chain of 24 showrooms, across NZ and Australia. They have gained market leader status, both in NZ and internationally.
The Opportunity:
On their behalf, we are looking for a highly motivated customer focused Sales Support person, who will be working alongside the sales team, to ensure all customers receive an Amaaaazzing ‘Customer Experience’ and are looked after throughout their spa ownership experience.
The role is best described as a Support role. You will be supporting customers with their sales and post sales requirements, as well as supporting the Sales team, and it will also involve you in sales activities yourself.
You will need to be able to switch hats, straddling both client service and sales tasks, to ensure that sales opportunities are maximised, and a great customer experience is always maintained.
This role would be a great job for someone who loves to sell, but also really takes pride in their delivery of customer service. You will enjoy both Service and Sales and be good at both.
There is no doubt that the role will be Fun and Rewarding!
The Role:
Support Duties: Customer Communication, Admin and Coordination:
- Be first point to of contact for incoming phone inquiries.
- Answer queries via social media platforms, email and live chat
- Fulfil Post Sales process including, scheduling and booking deliveries, perform site visits if necessary, follow up on final payments or finance paperwork.
- Ensure customers are communicated with, throughout their spa purchase process.
- Assist with management of inventory, including monthly stocktakes.
- Manage and maintain ERP system.
- Give technical advice to queries around spa usage & maintenance.
- Assist with point-of-sale material, displays and merchandising.
- General sales administration
- Assist with general tidying and upkeep of the showroom.
- Ultimately ensure that both the sales team and clients are looked after.
Sales
- Providing backup to the sales team, in the showroom
- Manage the showroom on the Sales Consultants days off.
- Manage sales leads, ensuring that they are responded to. Turn leads into sales opportunities.
- You also get to sell!! Which also means you will earn commission.
- Make sales appointments for demonstrations, test soaks (Yep, the kids can come in and try out the spas)
- Facilitating sales of consumables, spa chemicals and off the shelf products
- Attend Trade Shows, or off-site promotions and brand promotional work
- Uncover all additional opportunities to make sales
About You:

This role will require a very customer focused person, who has the ability to listen, problem solve, think strategically, achieve results, meet deadlines, create efficiencies and deliver a customer service experience that is second-to-none!
It will require weekend work, 3 out of every 4 weekends. You will get 2 days off work during the week (Weekend hours are much shorter – only 6 hours per Sat / Sun, from 10am – 4pm).
