About the Employer

They grew out of a need to make it easy for children to learn to read when English is such an arbitrary and complex language, which flouts all the rules and has vocabulary borrowed from many different languages. The company’s mission is to enable all children to become confident readers and develop their literacy skills.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, mature person with exceptional communication skills to coordinate and supervise the running of our clients wholly owned centres. You will have a passion for education, superb organisation skills and can positively empower a team of Educators. A good command of spoken and written English. This is a fast-paced role, where you will need to think quickly on your feet and be adaptable.
This role requires an innate ability to develop genuine rapport with children, parents, and team, ensuring that everything runs smoothly, and that teachers are fully supported, and that parents and children feel welcomed and nurtured. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of our growing business for the long haul.
Growing the centre’s popularity and reputation is another of the main focal points of this role, so looking after parents and children is a priority, ideally you will have prior experience in dealing with parents and children in all lines of communication; face-to-face, over the phone or over email with confidence and clarity are key.

Duties:
- Maintaining CRM database.
- Support teaching staff
- Greet and welcome students and their families.
- Attend to telephone, walk-in, and email enquiries.
- Book student assessments
- Manage teaching staff timetables and send homework notes via timetabling system Teachworks
- Maintain a proper filing system to keep track of personal records of children, correspondence and invoices.
- Create and send invoices out every term, chase any outstanding payments and track student attendance, enrolment, and withdrawals.
- Weekly and monthly reporting of student numbers, assessments, and new enrolments.
- Stock control
- Review and maintain company’s policies and procedures and ensure the same standard is applied across both office and centres operations.
- Deal with maintenance issues in the centre and organising contractors on occasions
- Support admin staff at our wholly owned centres
- Contribute ideas to raise the profile of the centre.
- Other duties as qualified/necessary.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience working in an education centre highly desirable.
- Previous Office management, administration manager experience
- Degree holder or above, major in Business Administration, or other related disciplines is highly desirable
- NSW Working with Children Check, First Aid Certificate, full working rights with no restrictions
- Experience using Microsoft Office (ie Excel, Word and Outlook) and the invoicing software Xero.
