They are currently looking to employ a Milking Machine Technician for their workshop in Reporoa. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a group of professionals who have extensive experience in the industry.
Responsibilities will include:
- Install, maintain, test, diagnose faults and make recommendations for milking systems to keep them running smoothly
- Liaising with clients
- Ensure health and safety practices and regulations are followed
This role will suit someone with the following background / experience / qualities:
- A full clean drivers’ licence
- A strong working knowledge of dairy shed milking systems
- Fault finding/diagnostic skills
- Able to work well in a team and capable of working unsupervised
- Competent engineer/fitter
- Welding experience with tig and stainless steel fabrication
- Milking machine testing experience a definite advantage
- Willingness to learn and better yourself
- Pride in your workmanship
