Our Lower Hutt based client is looking for an experienced Team Leader, Planned Care to join one of their Surgical units.
About the role
This pivotal role will lead a team to provide a people focused, high quality booking service for surgical and outpatient appointments. This supportive team also assist in managing and maintaining planned care hospital waiting lists. The Team Leader will also ensure that all theatre schedules are kept up to date and liaise with the relevant outpatient services, they will also maintain efficient and effective systems while delivering on agreed quality and process improvement initiatives.
You will bring….
- Experience working in the health sector or relevant equivalent
- Demonstrated experience managing people – able to motivate and inspire!
- Great MS Suite ability
- Good analytical and numeracy skills
- Be an excellent communicator
- Implementer of projects and service plans.
- Knowledge of patient management systems (desirable)
