The main purpose of this role is to lead manufacturing operations while striving for excellence and continuously improving Safety, Quality, Engagement, Service and Efficiency results. You will take a senior leadership role as part of the Site Leadership Team to support delivery of outstanding results across the entire business.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring that all product is manufactured in accordance with the relevant NZ Standards and in-house specifications
- Support and develop capability and ensure compliance with legal requirements and, company processes and practices
- Manufacturing reporting requirements ensuring timely and accurate data capture.
- Allocation of resources and delegates tasks / projects in a way that supports and stretches team members to achieve desired individual and team outcomes
- Ensuring all Health and Safety policies, processes and procedures are adhered to
What you will bring
- leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Good decision making and value judgements, with an understanding of the impact of decisions
- Experience in plastic or steel pipes (or similar) preferred
- People centred, cares for each other, needs to relate to a wide range of people within and outside the organisation
- Time management skills with the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Forklift (F) licence endorsement
