We are ideally looking for someone from 3pm to 5pm every Tuesday and Wednesday (but can be flexible around days). The start date is flexible and additional hours may be available at times.
Duties will vary depending on what the day holds, but would generally include:
- Picking the six year old up from school and walking him home (or driving if raining)
- Preparing and making sure he has afternoon tea
- Playing with children (and helping with homework if needed)
- Light cleaning duties such as unpacking dishwasher, tidying lounge, folding laundry
- Preparing the evening meal if needed
Applicants must have:
- Previous experience in childcare/nannying/babysitting
- Energy and enthusiasm about being with children
- Plenty of initiative and great communications skills
- A full drivers license
- A commitment to working long term in this role is preferred
The rate is $25 per hour and you will be paid weekly.
