What’s the role about?
We are currently seeking a part time After School Support Worker to support a 10year old girl with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Waipukurau area. As a Support Worker you will need to be able to support child with after school activities whether it be around the family house or in the community i.e.
- Homework, learning to participate and gain independence in self-care.
- Assist and sometimes transport child independently to and from after school sport or community activities for socialisation.
- Assist or take child independently to and from supermarkets, local shops and sometimes cafes.
