As part of our Smart Collaboration team, you will be involved in (including but not limited to) the following: Planning and development
- Support the planning and the design of the University’s network architecture
- Participate in the planning and design of an enterprise Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan
- Provide advice and guidance on project driven network changes to ensure adoption and adherence to standards
Operational work
- Support of network solutions (Wireless, Routing, Switching, Data Cabling)
- Monitor and analyse network performance across Massey’s campus and datacenter deployments
- Ensure the stable operation and efficient performance of University networks
- Monitor system capacity to determine its effect on performance and recommend enhancements to meet new or changing network demands
Project work
- Complete new project work
- Capture requirements from multiple sources and translate into effective solutions
- Provide technical leadership for project implementations and providing technical consultancy
