About the role
We’re looking for a Cleaner to join our Metlifecare Parkside Village, located in the lovely suburb of Hillsborough. You’ll be working under the direction of the Senior Registered Nurse providing a high standard of cleaning within our brand new, newly opened Dementia unit.
This role is a permanent part time position, working 24 hours (3 days) per week – Monday, Wednesday and Friday – 8am to 4pm.
Some of the great things you will be doing:
- Provide exceptional cleaning support to our residents
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained
- Ensuring residents belongings are treated with respect
- Ensuring all heath guidelines are followed
About you
We are looking for someone with the right attitude with excellent communication skills and who can work as part of a team to provide a high level of support in maintaining our village to a high standard. Some things that will support your application include:
- Good level of fitness
- Previous cleaning experience is highly beneficial
- Empathy for the elderly and a love of making a difference in our residents’ lives
- Bright, breezy “can do” attitude and a team focus
