We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced florist in our Northlands store. With hundreds of customers walking through the supermarket doors each day, this role will give you the opportunity to drive sales, lift the mood and atmosphere of the store, and boost the happiness of your community with beautiful and fresh product!
Days and Hours: 30.00 hours per week, Tuesday – Saturday. Shift times are 10.00am – 4.30pm. Open to discussing shift times based on availability.
We are seeking a candidate with energy, enthusiasm, an eye for detail and passion for the floral industry. You must be able to think independently and work well as part of a team.
To be considered for this role, you must have proven commercial floristry experience.
This role will include the use of a smartphone so confidence in using a smartphone will be advantageous.
What will your day look like?
A mix of retail floristry and visual merchandising, bouquet-making, maintaining and displaying floral stands, meeting sales and wastage KPIs, interacting with a variety of customers and providing excellent customer service.
Ideally you will have:
- Experience and skills of a florist
- At least 6 months of proven retail experience required
- Energy, enthusiasm, an eye for detail and passion for the floral industry
- Valid NZ vaccine passport
- Availablity to support during major events (Valentines Day, Mothers Day, Christmas)
- Commitment to one weekend shift
