Education Divide Reform (EDR) advances the mission to build social harmony and global leadership through global citizenship education for young generations.
For this job as a summer camp ESL teacher, you will work with Korean college students and teach content-based English courses based on the program syllabus and materials provided. The courses will run at 2-4 pm on weekdays between June 27-July 15. Teachers should be able to teach consistently during this time.
Duties and responsibilities:
– Teach scheduled content-based English classes to the students
– Provide academic support to students to ensure their progress and achievements
– Complete the necessary administrative work required for classes in a timely manner
– Prepare lesson plans relevant to your classes
Minimum requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree
– Minimum 1-year ESL teaching experience required
– Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
Preferred qualifications
– TEFL/TESOL certificate or Massachusetts teaching certificates preferred
– Master’s degree preferred
Looking for candidates who are:
– Highly motivated, proactive, and positive
– Organized and thorough, with good attention to detail
– The ability to provide exceptional customer service to students on a daily basis
– Experience with standardized ESL exams, such as TOEFL, IELTS, SAT, GRE, ACT is a plus
