Our client is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Nurse Practitioner to join their team. It is preferred you have Aged Care experience or a strong willingness to work in this field. You’ll have a range of skills and the ability to work effectively with a large team to a high standard within your scope of practice.
To be successful in this role you must be positive with great communication skills, be able to take direction and work well as part of team. You will have a passion for supporting older people with varying mental and physical health needs.

The Medical Practice
The facility provides medical services to residents of aged residential care facilities, rest homes, private hospitals, dementia facilities and retirement villages. Established in 2010, the centre provides various health services including Medical Practitioners services, Allied Health Provider, Aged Care Facilities, Dementia Care, General Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, Aged Residential Care, and Telehealth care.
The Location
Auckland, based around 2 large harbours, is a major city in the north of New Zealand’s North Island. In the centre, the iconic Sky Tower has views of Viaduct Harbour, which is full of superyachts and lined with bars and cafes. Auckland Domain, the city’s oldest park, is based around an extinct volcano and home to the formal Wintergardens. Near Downtown, Mission Bay Beach has a seaside promenade.

Qualifications & Experience
Experience in working in a General Health Care setting
Current Registration with NZ Nursing Council in New Zealand with a valid annual practicing certificate.
Comprehensive knowledge of NZ Health system and Primary Health Care environment
