CAMP COUNSELOR: Make it a summer to remember for a child!
Camp PaGonKi, a YMCA Day Camp located in Windham, NH is currently seeking enthusiastic Group Leaders & Assistant Group Leaders for Summer 2022.
Camp Pa-Gon-Ki is a traditional day camp located in Windham, NH where campers spend the summer in the outdoors experiencing a wide variety of activities such as sports, adventure, gardening, and more! Each week campers participate in camp-wide special theme-based events and enjoy unique camp traditions such as learning the camp cheer and other favorite camp songs.
Group Leaders and Assistant Group Leaders bring the fun and energy to our programs through the activities they plan and by participating alongside campers throughout the day. They lead by living in accordance with the Y core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Camp is a place for personal growth, leadership development and community enhancement for all participants. Every camper’s self-confidence is enhanced because of the leadership and example set by staff members through games, consistent expectations, friendship building and positive reinforcement.
Experience working with children is preferred. Must be available to attend all training’s before and during camp season. Must currently hold or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications. The first day of camp is June 27, with trainings occurring throughout the month of June. Last day of camp is August 12.
Salary range based on experience: $10.25 – $13 hourly | 30 hours average weekly
Summer employees receive additional pay when working the weeks of 8/15 and 8/22.
