32 hours per fortnight (0.4FTE)

We have one vacancy available for a Clinical Pharmacist at The Doctors Napier.

With its own Team Leader to directly report to, this close-knit autonomous team of Clinical Pharmacists offers a supportive environment in a role that will allow you to reach your potential to work at top of scope.

Your main responsibility is to provide direct clinical pharmacist facilitation services, focusing on the appropriate prescribing and utilisation of medicines to Primary Care.

To apply for the role, you must have the following:

  • Registered as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand holding a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC) with no restrictions.
  • Work experience sufficient to demonstrate general pharmaceutical knowledge in core areas and/or specialist pharmaceutical knowledge in management of long-term conditions.
  • Current Driver Licence.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Motivation to achieve exceptional outcomes alongside patients and the general practice team
  • Desire for lifelong learning and development as a pharmacist
  • Research, interpretation and provision of medicine information.
