A background or training in medicine/paramedicine/biomed/physiotherapy/health/strength & conditioning would be preferred.
The shifts are in 4-8 hour shifts from Mondays-Sundays. There are 4-24 hours per week available.
Working with a nurse or doctor and part of a team of 10 students. The job includes assisting with stretches, exercises, walking & (subject to Alert level) working with physiotherapists to help with gym work, occupational therapists & speech language therapists. You would be going out to various activities including the gym, taking the dog to the beach/park, attending music events, sailing etc. Some assistance with computer use, facilitating university work etc may be required. The work also includes tidying the room and cleaning any areas that have been used.
He has a good sense of humour and is interested in sailing, the gym, music, basketball, science, maths, computers, and languages. The student has a very friendly Border Collie so you need to be ok interacting with a dog.
It is essential you are enthusiastic, patient and reliable. Applicants need to be vaccinated & show vaccine pass.
