We are offering an exciting opportunity for an exceptional and passionate teacher to bring their own flair and touches to our environment and programme. This is a newly created part time position, covering approx. 20-25 hours per week – we consistently have a full roll, so this extra team member is going to be invaluable to us!

A little bit about us, Active Explorers Invercargill is a purpose built and well-established centre with a strong team culture, we love to have fun together and are passionate about what we do. Our philosophy is underpinned by the strong, responsive and respectful relationships that we form with each family, each child and the community to support a strong sense of belonging within our centre and to have a hand in shaping little minds to be respectful, curious, independent, socially competent and confident little people.

What we’re seeking:

  • A Qualified & Registered ECE Teacher
  • Excellent in all forms of communication

  • Dedicated to supporting children and their whanau throughout their learning journey in a positive and caring way

  • A Team member who values diversity and has a willing attitude to learn from others
  • Sound knowledge of Te Whariki, programme planning and evaluation, ECE regulations and hold compliance in high regard.
