Part Time After School Nanny / Childcare / Babysitter in Mt Eden – Mount Eden, Auckland

We are a busy family with 3 kids aged 14, 12, and 9 (boy, girl, boy) in Mt Eden. We are after childcare ideally 4 days per week (Tues-Friday) from 2.30pm – 6pm (3.5 hours per day). We can accommodate 3 days from time to time and can be flexible when you have exams. Over the holidays there will be some full days from 8am – 6pm- usually 3 days a week. We can change days potentially to suit your uni schedule during the year. If you wanted to do 5 days that is possible too- let’s talk!

START DATE: School starts on 8 February 2022, but we’d love someone to do some full says in the school hols from 17 Jan if you are available.

PAY RATE is $20-$23/hr depending on your experience

We want someone to hang with the kids, pick them up from school, have fun, and drive them about for sports practices etc. as needed. There are sometimes playdates to drop off and pick up from or host. There is some basic household management that we ask you to help with if you have time.

We are looking for someone who is looking for a long-term role – 1 year or more preferably. The kids are into reading, board games, sport, swimming in our pool, and creating things. We are a fairly low-tech family and our kids are self-sufficient with their homework.

I am a criminal barrister and my husband is a COO for a global ecommerce business so we are busy and need someone reliable, responsible and fun to help us carry the load.

You need your own safe, fully-insured car to run the kids around. We will pay you the IRD rate for mileage – 79cents a km. A full, clean license is necessary too.

A clean criminal history is needed – please tell us if you have anything to declare upfront.

Experience with kids essential- We will be especially excited if you are from a big family yourself as you will understand the crazy that is our household.
