You’ll be working with us as part of our nationwide team to maintain our trusted reputation for providing kids with a quality-focused, nurturing ‘home away from home’ in our out-of-school care and holiday programmes. We are proven and established leaders in the industry – having inspired Kiwi kids through over 4 million booked sessions since 2007.
This is a permanent weekday role for 25.5 hours per week Term time (Rostered 2.30pm – 6pm plus admin) and approximately 40-45 hours rostered in the holidays. As a Kelly Club Programme Coordinator in Island Bay you’ll be provided with all the training and support to be the best you. Programme Coordinators manage our programme delivery within schools, as well as managing permanent and casual staff.
You’ll work in a team as passionate as you are to ultimately see Kiwi kids thrive, be active, stay healthy and get inspired through our fun-filled holiday programmes and out-of-school care sessions.
In this role you will learn how to:
- Ensure kids are cared for and have fun at our programmes
- Build relationships with kids, parents and caregivers, school personnel and Kelly Club team members
- Lead your own team and grow your own leadership skills
- Develop your administration skills and time management

As a provider working with kids, child safety is our top priority. We therefore require successful applicants to have a Police Check. Staff recruitment is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Children’s Act (2014). All applicants must hold the right to work in New Zealand.
In order to be a successful applicant in this position, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (received at least one dose of the vaccination by 15 November 2021, and a second dose by 1 January 2022). Please be aware that this role is in an industry covered by the COVID-19 vaccination mandate, and you will be required to provide proof of vaccination.
Part-time hours: 25.5 per week

- Afternoon shift

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
