Taitara Mahi – Skate Park Guardian
The Hastings District Council has a vacancy for a Skate Park Guardian. This role ensures the William Nelson Skate Park is a safe and user friendly place that will attract families and youth to enjoy the surroundings and environment.
This is a permanent part-time position with a minimum of 18 hours per week based on a Monday to Sunday roster. For clarity, this position requires the successful candidate to work every weekend and on every second Friday afternoon/evening. The successful applicant will need to be flexible with actual hours worked and working on public holidays may be required.
The Skate Park Guardian is responsible for promoting the Skate Park as a safe and user-friendly environment and ensures the prevention and determent of anti-social behaviour and crime.
