Weekend Bakery Assistant/Packer

Want to work in a fast paced supermarket bakery? Are you bright, bubbly and energetic in the early morning? We have the opportunity for you!
Part time hours:
- Saturday: 6am – 2:30pm
- Sunday: 4am – 8am
These hours may be extended for the right candidate.
You must be able to work at a fast pace to keep up with production and the demands of the department. Taking initiative and striving to assist bakers and other staff with the smooth day to day running of the bakery. We are looking for someone with strong individual commitment to the role and also to the whole team.
Working on your feet, some heavy lifting, excellent communication and a positive attitude are all necessary for success in this role. Packing items into packaging and labelling correctly and some cleaning tasks are a vital part of this role. A passion for working with food and basic understanding of food safety/hygiene is beneficial.
Full health and safety and food safety training will be given. Experience working in a bakery environment preferred but not required.
