The opportunity
Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and weekends off to enjoy all the beautiful surf beaches with this 12 month GP placement! You will be covering an established patient base while the permanent doctor is on maternity leave working 8-10 sessions per week. With a friendly an experienced multi-disciplinary team the practice is an accredited teaching practice open from 8am to 5pm on weekdays only so there will be plenty of time explore the beautiful East Coast on your days off. Accommodation an travel negotiable on a case by case basis.

Gisborne and the surrounding region is well known for its relaxed lifestyle and its beautiful rural and beach environments. A settled and sunny temperate climate and the stunning coastlines are a draw card for the region, making it a favourite holiday spot for people from all over the country.
Essential criteria
To apply for this role you must hold or be eligible to obtain work rights and registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
