Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
The role of 150th Anniversary Project Coordinator is to ensure a positive experience for those involved, by coordinating effective development and implementation of the 150th celebrations. You will work closely with key stakeholders in coordinating activities that lead up to the celebration, while continuously building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. You will establish a team of volunteers and coordinate their activities according to the needs of the project. You will work to ensure events are on track and within budget, managing constraints efficiently.
At the end of the anniversary project, you will write and submit a final ‘close out’ report.

To be successful in this role you will have 3 – 5 years’ project and event management experience, and have:
- ability to plan, prioritise and work within set time frames
- performance driven with the ability to recognise key success factors and recognise the skills required to achieve goals.
- able to use strong relationship management skills to work effectively with a wide variety of individuals and organisations both within and beyond the University
- demonstrated creative flair, while maintaining attention to detail and follow-through
- excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- extremely good judgement and common sense
- excellent intrapersonal skills with a warm, friendly, and courteous personality
- hold a current full NZ Drivers Licence.
