Part-time tutor for 2022
Our 13-year-old son is at Wellington College, Year 10.
He is in the Wgtn College accelerated Science program – so doing NCEA Science this year (one year early).
Looking for a tutor to support him in Science and Maths
Our 13-year-old son is at Wellington College, Year 10.
He is in the Wgtn College accelerated Science program – so doing NCEA Science this year (one year early).
Looking for a tutor to support him in Science and Maths
Tasks:
Regular 1:1 tutoring sessions at our home in Kelburn for the remainder of the year (2022)
Days of week and times to be mutually agreed (we have flexibility), expect breaks in holidays etc.
Core tasks & skills:
- Build personal rapport
- Help identify and fill in holes in understanding and knowledge
- Explain the best approaches to solving NCEA problems.
- Must have a high degree of knowledge and expertise in the subjects – ideally, we would like someone who has achieved excellence at NCEA level in the subjects and/or achieved at a high level at University.
Note: the number of hours is flexible.
