We are seeking someone to work on Monday 14 February 2022 from 10am to 5pm (approx 7 hours). Times may vary depending upon orders. The job will involve helping to move and store wall panel stock – some heavy – and prepare orders in our Papatoetoe warehouse with the arrival of a new container from Europe. Work experience in such a warehouse role is preferable, although not necessary as you will be working with the Owner who can guide you.
There is an opportunity for the role to be extended to a casual basis – 4 to 6 hours per week, or as needed. You will need to be reliable (includes dependable vehicle or transport arrangement), contactable and relatively fit and strong (lifting is involved). An ability to count and be accurate and tidy are also required. Sturdy footwear and warehouse clothing should be worn.
All applicants should be double vaccinated for Covid-19. Masks will be provided if necessary, along with gloves, hi-vis vest and work takes place at a safe distance.
With new job instructions being given and safety an important part of working in a busy warehouse good communication skills are required. Note : Pay is $22.00 per hour, paid at the end of the day or within 48 hours by online banking.
