The Position
We are currently on the hunt for a reliable Catering Assistant to join our team in Camperdwon. Working alongside our Chef Manager, you’ll spend your time helping with food preparation and FOH customer service.
A day in the life
- You’ll provide a warm and welcoming customer service to both students and staff
- You’ll help our Chef Manager with food preparation – preparing salads, vegetables, portioning for food service
- You’ll ensure company standards and procedures are followed at all times
- You’ll help maintain the kitchen/dining room cleanliness including washing dishes (e.g. pots, pans, crockery, kitchen equipment)
A bit about you
- Ideally, you’ll have some catering experience in a high volume, fast paced environment – if not we are happy to train on the job.
- If you bring experience working in a larger scale catering environment – we will consider this a bonus!
- Attitude is everything – you bring the energy and well do the training.
- You’ll need to have (or be able to obtain) a Working with Children Check
