Privacy Social Worker
Fixed Term Part Time – no specific location

The Open Home Foundation (OHF) is calling for expressions of interest (EOI) to join our Privacy and Information Requests team.
We are looking for a Social Worker who shares our vision and is able to work with a small specialist team responding to privacy requests from children and young people who have previously used our service. The role also includes helping prepare information for young people getting ready to leave our care.
The successful person will have the following:
- Good knowledge of social work file structure and content
- Some knowledge of using Adobe Reader
- Good attention to detail and an ability to work alone
- Good knowledge of The Oranga Tamariki Act 1989
- An interest in the Privacy Act and the transitional needs of young people leaving care
- An in-depth understanding of how the role recognises the special relationship between Māori and Tauiwi and strong empathy with the organisation’s special character
