YOUR ROLE
In this unique colourful role, you will be the valued RIGHT HAND legal secretary/legal assistant assisting the managing partner with personal injury law matters (workers compensation, CTP/motor accidents and total permanent disablement claims).
You will love the people interaction and variety:
being the FIRST professional phone contact for all new incoming clients doing an initial ‘fact- find’+ attending to their initial queries+ allocating solicitors+ arranging client-solicitor meetings;
generally assisting the senior partner with legal administration of personal injury cases (eg organising meetings/diaries+ attend to the mail; liaising with other solicitors/doctors/insurers; typing correspondence and court documents, preparing briefs to barristers and filing).

WHO YOU ARE
We are interested in hearing from you if you:
have MINIMUM 12 months OR MORE (senior candidates welcome) legal administration/secretarial/assistant experience in a LAW FIRM;
have had minimum 6 months experience in personal injury law (preferably CTP/motor accidents, workers compensation and/or TPD);
are either a ‘career’ legal secretary/administrator OR if a law student (not due to be admitted for at least another 3-4 years);
have strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)+ communication and interpersonal skills [essential];
are highly organized and can meet deadlines;
love to work in a vibrant, fast-paced, positive environment;
are hungry to advance your career with a successful law firm long-term.
