This highly successful business is looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Logistics Coordinator to support the busy sales team.
The role
Reporting to the Logistics Team Leader you will be responsible for providing logistics support to both suppliers and customers for the Fresh Berry Company.
More specially you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with the coordination of the logistics function for berry fruit between the farms and the sales and marketing team.
- Checking incoming stock has correct paperwork
- Checking quality of stock on incoming and outgoing
- Ensuring product is managed in the cool chain appropriately
- Completing stock takes
- Ensuring customer deliveries are ready for despatch with appropriate paperwork in time for transport pickup
- Maintaining accurate record keeping and documentation filing
- Direct to store proof of delivery reconciliations
- General data entry
Your background
- Previous warehousing or logistics experience would be preferable
- Current forklift licence would be preferable but not essential
- Truck driving experience and a Class 4 licence would be preferable but not essential
Personal attributes
To succeed in this fast-paced, high-growth environment, you must be energetic, have a positive personality and like a challenge
You will be highly organised with great attention to detail and process. You will be a motivated, hardworking, and enthusiastic person and have good written and verbal communication skills.
This can be a full time or part time position and you must be able to work weekends.
