About the role
Our highly sought after Gulf Rise Village, which has been under development is getting the final touches ready and we are so excited to announce our BRAND – NEW kitchen and café will be opening June! Due to our latest development we are now looking for a reliable Kitchen Hand to deliver excellent service to our residents. This role would suit someone who is motivated and wanting to start a career in the kitchen, we are prepared to teach you what you need to know.
Not only will you be rewarded with a brand-new café, bar and kitchen kitted out with all the latest appliances. You will also have the opportunity to make your mark and influence the dining experience our residents and local community experience.
We have a range of shifts available and can be flexible based on your availability.
Some of the great things you will be doing
- Taking orders from residents and visitors
- Serving meals to our residents when required
- Collecting used dishes, running the dishwasher
- Setting tables and general cleaning in the Kitchen
- Assist with preparation of meals
About You
- Positive attitude and a strong team player
- Excellent food hygiene skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Empathy and a love for making an impact on our residents’ lives
- Commercial kitchen experience (advantageous)
