About the opportunity:

Role description:
As Stock and Logistics Coordinator, you will control the stock of raw materials and equipment, manage yard logistics, manage store, and manage vehicles.
Responsibilities will include:
- Procurement of job product and stock
- Implement and maintain inventory system, both physical and electronic
- Optimise procurement processes to ensure that purchases are made on time, on budget from estimate sheet, and to requirements
- Liaise with Suppliers to ensure best price/supply agreements
- Co-ordinate regular monthly rolling stocktakes and Maintain min. stock levels of consumables
- Quality control of inventory including inspection and maintenance
- Maintain stock levels of Personal Protective Equipment
- Ensure equipment is fit for purpose
This role will suit someone with the following background / experience / qualities:
- Current Forklift (OSH forklift certificate required)
- Current Full Drivers’ License
- 2+ years experience in scheduling/planning of procurement & logistics
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills in MS Office
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
