The Intern positions are 2-year fixed term, up to 30 hours per week, based on your study requirements.

The aim of the KiwiRail Intern Programme is to attract and grow young and diverse talent for future operational and technical roles across KiwiRail, whilst also providing the Intern with work experience.
The Programme will provide the Intern with a supportive and safe learning environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Being involved in Projects and providing support in their delivery
- Attending project review meetings to ensure they progress to plan
- Providing support in the delivery of projects
- Developing strong working relationships and networks with key stakeholders to assist with project concepts, design, and implementation
- Updating the management team on the progress of Projects
- Assisting in preparing project documentation including business cases, project plans, schedules of work, budgets, and reporting
