Eynon Surgery Center, a Covenant Physician Partner, is hiring a part-time Environmental Services Assistant to assist in maintaining excellence in our surgical suites.
About the Opportunity
Working three-hour days, Monday through Friday, the Environmental Services Assistant assists with cleaning, making beds, handling laundry, and other housekeeping tasks throughout the surgery center.
Hours will be 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
This individual will follow principles of aseptic technique and prescribed operating/procedure room cleaning processes. The Environmental Services Assistant cleans and disinfects beds and accessories according to the center’s policies, procedures, and manufacturer’s guidelines. Other duties include cleaning reusable equipment, re-stocking supplies, and additional duties as requested or assigned.
About the Candidate
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hospital housekeeping / environmental services experience preferred
