Fundamental Coaching Centre specialises in helping students build a foundation in a variety of subjects, including Mathematics and English. We have a special method to help students improve their understanding and their marks effectively in a short period of time. We have a flexible timetable and professional tutors, with many years of experience teaching students in both public and private schools. FCC also provides learning resources, including NAPLAN, OC, Selective and HSC past exam papers. We have integrated the use of technology to enhance the learning experiences of our students. Our services include 1-on-1 private classes, group classes and helping students with impairments.
We are currently looking for competent and capable tutors for the following positions:
- English and Maths for years K-6
- English and Maths for years 7-12
- Junior Science (Y7-10)
- Biology (Y11-Y12)
- Physics (Y11-Y12)
- Chemistry (Y11 – Y12)
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating your own lesson plans according to student needs (must be in accordance with the Australian Curriculum).
- Checking and marking their homework.
- Guiding, explaining and assisting students in all aspects of their study.
- Interacting with students on our platforms (Microsoft Teams and Google Classroom) – will also need to update work regularly on these platforms (including homework, worksheets, resources, etc).
As we are based in Canley Heights Sydney, public transport will be the main method to reaching our centre so travel should not be an issue.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
