Our client, a leading global advisory, broking and solutions company, has tasked Tyler Wren with attracting an
Account Director,
Financial Lines, to their business. This is a maternity cover role so will be for a fixed term contract period of six months.
This role will manage and grow a portfolio of clients, ensuring that their risk management and financial lines insurance broking needs are identified and met. In addition, the role will develop existing client portfolios to contribute to the overall growth.
The responsibilities of the role will include:
Represent the client’s voice with decisions regarding the process, approach and future strategy whilst leveraging best practices from across the business to deploy these within the team. You will ensure that all sales processes are compliant with the business model and local regulations (FSLAA). Ensuring all documentation is prepared per the company service and compliance procedures and tools. You will also maintain and continue to develop a strong relationship with insurers. With your colleagues, you will identify development needs and build clear goals to support their learning and career development.
About you:
You will have the relevant qualifications per the Financial Services Legislation Amendment Act, preferably degree qualified (e.g. Law). In addition, you will have extensive financial lines, insurance broking or industry experience and a good set of technical skills in coverage and wording review. You will have excellent interpersonal, organisational and time management skills with a proven ability to collaborate within and across the team.
