One of my favourite clients, based in Avondale is a very well-established business in the service industry. On their behalf, we are looking for a switched-on Accounting Administrator to join their friendly, upbeat team.
I hope you are an early riser! We need the person in this role to start at 7:30am. (Finish at 3:30pm)
The work at the beginning of the day is around the reconciliation of payments. There is quite a lot of reconciliation work to be processed and reports created.
It involves:
- Managing unidentified payments, manual payments, removing dishonoured payments
- Ensuring daily direct debits are exported and uploaded
- Importing overseas payments are imported
- Processing daily direct debits
- Entering supplier invoices
- Updating the system and some detailed spread-sheeting.
- Supporting the Accounting team
About You
- Have extraordinary attention to detail,
- Is very process driven and displays strong time management skills.
- Is analytical and able to recognise discrepancies and enjoys problem solving.
- Confident use of technology and systems.
- Clear communication and ability to present, and communicate information
- Strong Excel skills – must have good spreadsheeting skills.
- Enjoys the challenge of time sensitive, nitty-gritty and detail focused work.
- You will likely have cut your teeth in an accounting role, with 2-3 years’ experience under your belt.
