The Role/Te mahi
The School of Performing Arts is looking for an assistant technician to work alongside our full-time technician and studio manager. The position focuses mainly on supporting students and staff with their teaching and research requirements, supporting the School’s audio technology activities, supporting the School’s technological and equipment needs, and the videoing and audio recording of assessments and concerts.
Skills and Experience/Kā pūkeka me kā wheako
- Good organisation and communication skills.
- Responsible and collegial.
- A good understanding of Health and Safety.
- Administrative skills.
- Able to physically move equipment.
- A tertiary qualification in digital audio production of music or recognised industry experience of at least 5 years.
