This main purpose of this role is to lead the manufacturing activities within Pokeno Facility’s Autocast manufacturing area. These activities include management of production resources, raw materials, mould fleet, machine assets, and optimal use of production capacity. You will lead the Autocast teams to consistently achieve all safety, production, and quality targets on time.You will also be responsible for the full operating budget and inventory control associated with the Autocast facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the Autocast machine line processes onsite, and ensuring a high level of machine availability to ensure production targets are achieved
- Determining WorkCentre capacity range, and monitor for available capacity to be able to consider future production demand
- Drive a continuous improvement culture following the principle of manufacturing excellence
- Providing critical and objective links between management & factory to positively influence employee relations and productivity.
- Overseeing production supervisory responsibilities such as purchasing, inventory control and maintenance.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship to ensure quality work is carried out correctly and to the highest standard.
Key Requirements
- Experience in an automated processing manufacturing environment
- Management experience (preferably in a manufacturing environment)
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage a team of skilled and unskilled operators
- Capable of engaging and driving H&S focus and on time performance through measures and reporting
- Relevant degree and Business acumen
- Good problem-solving skills
- ERP system exposure
- Experience problem solving concrete materials, mix, and curing processes is desirable
