The hours and days for this Apprentice Baker position are:
Position 1: Monday and Sunday 0900-1730
Position 2: Friday and Saturday 0900-1730
Join the best smelling department in the store! In this hands on role as an Apprentice Baker, a day in the life could look like:
- Learning all aspects of baking breads and cakes from the wider team – from preparation to packaging
- Attending training courses with our Apprenticeship partners to complement your “on the job” training
- Offering great service to our customers
- Learning about and adhering to food safety policies
In this role we are looking for our new team member to:
- Have a motivated attitude and dedication to learning
- Commit to three years to complete the Apprenticeship programme
- Have a willingness for early starts and to work on your feet for most of your shift
- Regularly lift up to 15kgs, bend, reach and complete repetitive movements
