YMCA Camp Gundalow is seeking Counselors for Summer 2022! If you are friendly, outgoing, and enjoy working with kids – this is the summer job for you! Located in Greenland, NH, Camp Gundalow provides high quality summer camp to kids aged 5-13 years old.
Counselors directly supervise and work with children, and are responsible for creating a fun and safe community for all.
You will need to form positive and nurturing relationships with campers, while building cooperative relationships with coworkers, supervisors, and parents.
Counselors model leadership by demonstrating and encouraging the Y’s Core Values – Honesty, Caring, Respect, and Responsibility.
Counselors will be assigned to a unit of campers each week and will lead campers throughout their daily activities.
They will work with fellow counselors to manage campers and program areas, and facilitate valuable peer to peer connections. Counselors will be placed with a group of same-age campers, ranging from ages 5-13.
Counselors must currently hold, or be willing to obtain, CPR and First Aid certifications. Must be available to attend trainings before and during camp season. Pay range is $10.50 – $12.50 per hour, based on experience.

Summer employees receive additional pay when working the weeks of 8/15 and 8/22.
