Are you looking for an opportunity to use your extensive commercial or legal expertise to deliver essential services and make a difference in the lives of others?
We are seeking a Commercial and Risk Manager to join our commercial and risk team within our Health and Education sector. With a portfolio including some of Australia’s largest and highest profile hospitals, tertiary institutions and schools, you will provide commercial stewardship and share responsibility for the sustainable delivery of 12 Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) as well as other long term facility management contracts. Your commercial acumen and understanding of complex projects including PPPs will facilitate excellence in service provision for patients, medical and educational staff, students and the broader community.
As a key member of the commercial team, you will manage the contractual relationships, champion the use of standardised processes and practices, work with other functions to establish clarity and visibility of contract performance and support, influence and implement key operational and strategic decisions.
ABOUT YOU
- Tertiary qualified in law, commerce, finance, engineering or equivalent and extensive experience in commercial management, legal management or contract management within the Public-Private-Partnerships (PPP) environment.
- Extensive experience leading teams with demonstrated ability to proactively develop and implement effective commercial strategies.
- Familiarity of qualitative and quantitative risk assessments with the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and pressure.
- Superior communication capabilities, with the ability to inform, negotiate and influence at all levels.
- Naturally self-driven, proactive, and inquisitive, with desire to understand a broad range of commercial issues.
