About the role: The Cook Room / AMO Supervisor is a key leadership role at the Havelock Processing site. The position is responsible for managing and leading the Night Shift team in the Cook room and AMO areas. The team consists of about 13 – 15 people. You will work collaboratively with supervisors from other departments to ensure daily, monthly and annual targets are achieved. The cook room team is made up of 2-3 staff members who are responsible for monitoring the CCPs which ensure we comply with our food safety program. The AMO team has both graders and AMO operators who work in collaboration to maximise the half shell pieces processed and throughput through the plant.
What you need to be successful in this role: To be successful in this role, you need to be a driven individual who is able to multitask and is excited by setting targets and achieving them. You should have a focus on sustainability and a commitment to minimise waste and optimise performance. As you will be leading a team, it is essential that you have good interpersonal skills and can demonstrate that you can coach, mentor and lead others. You will need excellent communication skills and be computer literate
