Role
Lumino Mobile Bus for Auckland Central is looking for Dental Assistant/Admin to join their team.
The mobile buses travel around multiple secondary schools to provide oral healthcare and education to the students. They do good work in the community and need someone reliable.
As our Dental Assistant, you will be supporting our dentists and therapists. You will be assisting them with a range of procedures during the appointment and will be taking the lead in student and patient relationship. You will also take full responsibility for instrument sterilisation and infection control and also stock control.
Ideally, you will have experience in administration as you will be helping in the organisation of all student enrollments, associated paperwork and liaising with the school staff to ensure the service is running efficiently. The Mobile is a compact working environment, part of the working week will be formed by setting up and closing down the Mobile at each school. You will bring a strong sense of initiative and a positive attitude.
The hours for the role are below:
- Monday : 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
- Tuesday : 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
- Wednesday : 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
- Thursday : 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
- Friday : 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
This role is active only during school term – however, if desirable, we can provide additional work during the school holiday period at our dental clinics.
Location
Lumino Mobile Bus Auckland Central is encompassing Auckland West and East. It travels to various schools for scheduled periods of time.

We are seeking a person with:
- Previous Dental Assistant experience is preferred but we will fully train if you are the right person.
- Experience with sterilisation, ideally.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- The ability to work well in a team and adapt to different working styles..
