What is a Direct Support Professional (DSP)? DSP’s provide support and care to individuals living with intellectual disabilities and autism. We encourage consumers to lead independent lives and help them integrate into their community. Some common job duties could include assisting with life skills, companion care, some personal hygiene, as well as taking the individual out into the community for activities.

Requirements

  • Positive, compassionate, & kind attitude
  • A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, car insurance, inspection, registration

  • Highschool Diploma or GED
