If you have a passion for promoting inclusive and accessible healthcare services for disabled people and whanau this is the role for you!
About the role
In this role you will be responsible for leading integration of disability responsiveness at a strategic and systems level, including developing and education and training framework.
In this role it is important that you understand the framework provided by the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the NZ Disability Strategy and how these apply within the context of health and disability service provisions.
About you
To be successful, you will also have:
- Knowledge and experience of implementing frameworks and systemising in adult education.
- Experience of the health sector
- A relevant tertiary qualification in health, education and/or disability (desirable).
This is a permanent part time position working 32 hours per fortnight, actual hours and days of work to be agreed.
