WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
A self-motivated Support Services Assistant to join our team in Dunedin for 32 hours per week. Initially 12 of these hours a week will be dedicated to assisting our Southland team.
Someone who can provide quality support to ensure the smooth day to day running of our Dunedin Office, Southland and Queenstown Lakes teams by providing quality office administration support to the Ecology Team Leader and the wider team.
A general all-rounder who has an energetic personality with the ability to interact with people in a positive and courteous manner.
MUST HAVE:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills with attention to detail, and the ability to follow through, with some of the calling being done after hours in order to contact Land owners when available.
- Proficient in entering accurate data.
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles.
- Be able to work within a team.
- Be well presented in both appearance and attitude.
- Good knowledge of computer systems, especially Microsoft office, Word and Excel. Experience with other software is preferred but not essential.
- Most importantly – providing good old-fashioned ‘Service’ and a ‘Can Do Attitude’ to support our manager, the team, suppliers and clients.
- A full driver’s licence and the ability to drive a manual transmission
