Elementary Title l Tutor Position – West Bridgewater, MA 02379

Working with classroom teachers, the Title l tutor plans and delivers high-quality ELA and or Math instruction to students: through push-in instruction or in targeted small group instruction. Assists in the development, implementation, and evaluation of school-based Title I instructional programs and materials. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepares lessons and teaches Title I eligible students in small groups and/or offers support within the classroom. Communicates with Title l coordinator, classroom teachers,and principal, to determine needs and suggested improvements and then to implement appropriate changes in the program.

Serves as a resource person for the staff, teachers, and parents. Meets regularly with the Title I coordinator to plan, evaluate, and discuss the needs of the Title I program. Attends all Title l parent activities (approximately 1-2)Attends workshops, professional development, and conferences if requested by the coordinator to meet the needs of Title I. Assists the coordinator in preparing student evaluation, and on-site review needs for Title I.
