Disorder; specifically Opioid Use Disorder, within the various communities in which we

Job Description:
Provide individual substance use counseling in accordance with the treatment
plan.
Document all counseling, case management, initial assessments, treatment
plans, and clients’ progress and responses to treatments, referrals, and follow-up
in the client’s electronic record in a timely manner including necessary
supervisory signatures.
Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and case management services.
Ensure all services are aligned with treatment goals and documented
accordingly.
Coordinate as necessary with psychiatric and medical staff to address client
concerns/needs.
Meet with supervisor on a biweekly basis.
Job Requirements:
Two years supervised experience working in addictions field with
knowledge of co-occurring disorders.
Associates or bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, mental health
counseling, or Substance Use Disorder counseling OR current certification or
qualification as an alcohol, drug, or substance use counselor as required by
agency, association, board or commission in state of employment location.
Will consider candidates working on a degree in the social or health services

Clinical licenses must be in good standing with the state currently practicing.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have legal right to work in the United States.
Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
Must be willing to participate in pre-employment screening and drug screen.
Must agree to Employment & Education Verifications.
Must be able to pass background check.
Maintain a valid driver’s license at all times and use of car during
normal working hours or other means of transportation to complete
major functions of job.
Comply with agency ethics and codes of conduct in all contacts with
clients, co-workers, and the community.
Observe all agency policies and procedures
