Job description
Edukingdom College Penrith is a professional tutoring college in Penrith.
We offer quality tuition for students from Kindergarten to Year 12.
We specialise in English and Maths, OC preparation as well as selective preparation/scholarship test subjects such as Writing and Thinking Skills.
EKC would like to recruit tutors/teachers who can do both Maths and English up to primary/high school level to cater the needs of our growing number of students.
We encourage qualified teachers, undergrads pursuing an education degree and former HSC students with high ATAR to apply for these positions.
Qualifications & experience
- Have a current Working with Children Check
- Be a qualified teacher or university students completing/completed a degree or teacher training
- Good at both English and Math and able to teach other subjects will be an added advantage
- Available after school hours from 3.30pm or Saturdays
- Reliable, friendly, keen and punctual
- Work well in a team and also independently
- Passionate about teaching children (Kindy up to HSC)
Tasks & responsibilities
- Tutoring and helping students in groups , and one on one in some occasions according to our pre-planned lesson plans
- Setting and correcting homework
Job Types: Contract, Casual, Permanent
Salary: $22.00 – $35.00 per hour
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 10 per week
Salary: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Experience:
- Education & Instruction Occupations: 1 year (Preferred)
