About the opportunity:
We are currently looking for an experienced Principal’s Assistant to provide support and assistance to teachers, students and school leadership in the successful delivery of school learning and pastoral outcomes.
This position is permanent full-time, working Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm. Preferred starting date would be 30 May but it is negotiable.
What You’ll Do:

Manage diary and inbox for the Principal – scheduling meetings, managing correspondence and ensuring an effective use of their time

Liaise with the leadership team and families in the coordination of complex matters
-
Participate in Leadership Team meetings – coordinating agendas/minute taking
-
Oversee the recruitment and work allocation of General Employees
-
Be responsible for secretarial and or/financial administration of the school office, including timesheet and payroll management
-
Supervise the operations of the school office and other administrative activities, in the area of enrolment, equipment and statistical return
-
Other duties at the discretion of the Principal
What You’ll Need:

Advanced skills and knowledge in the operation of complex equipment and procedures

Tertiary qualifications or relevant work experience

Strong planning and organisation skills

The ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team

The ability to follow direction, prioritise and meet set deadlines

A current Working with Children Check
