Te Puna Hanganga, Matihiko | Infrastructure & Digital – Te Tāhuhu o te Mātauranga | Ministry of Education, leads inclusive, accessible and integrated national, digital and physical infrastructure and transport services to the education system.

The Finance and Investment group has overall responsibility for financial management and capital investment planning for TPHM. We also manage the financial planning, forecasting, analytical and reporting and the financial compliance function for TPHM group.
Mō tēnei tūranga | About this role
The Financial Analyst reports to the Finance Manager and contributes to the delivery of the Finance function with TPHM and in conjunction with Corporate Finance. This is a key role that contributes to the financial reporting and compliance function within TPHM ensuring financial transactions and obligations are correctly reported. This role requires interactions with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. There is also a requirement to be involved in the development of effective property management information systems to support the planning, decision making and monitoring processes. Mōhou ake | About you
This role requires financial accounting experience (especially in Fixed Assets) and excellent analytical skills to support the operation of the TPHM property and infrastructure functions.
You will also offer:
- Proven Financial accounting experience.
- Advance excel skills.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Experience in Financial Accounting and fixed assets functions.
- Experience in managing relationships and consultation with an assortment of internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in working with a complex system.
- Able to make business decisions with financial impact.
